Kemah - Best known for the Kemah Boardwalk and Waterfront, this seaside communitys boundary is Galveston Bay. Kemah took some damage after hurricane Ike, but its back stronger, more well built, and better than ever. The bay and the sailboats are the daily view for most Kemah homeowners.
El Lago - Located on the west shore of Taylor Lake, a smaller lake at Clear Lakes northern shore. El Lago has particular historical significance as it was the location of pirate Jean Lafittes hideout.
